Now my truck is ready for the road..........

Aug 15, 2009,09:36 AM

So I start to pull out this one.

Pre oiled and ready to rock.

There we go.

Then I lift it up and are not happy what I see.

Now they have stop to put those road noisier's on so I have to buy one from the dealer.

Now it much nicer and the engine will not be dirty either.

Now we should have some fun.

So this one will go.

But I need the bearing at the top.

So here we go.

There is a little difference.

And we start with the spring at the bottom.

And now we are at the ground.

Damn it looks nice, I'm really satisfied how it come out with all the small mods.

Or was it better from the start?

I'm a little weak for low cars.

Jocke

Thanks for sharing the journey from start to completion. It has been a fascinating read. I like the rims too. Are those AEZ rimes? And may I ask what suspensions or springs those are? Regards, iAn This message has been edited by ianny on 2009-08-15 09:55:...

Very nice Jocke!

Looks great. Have you considered putting in an aftermarket exhaust?

 By: AnthonyTsai : August 16th, 2009-08:50
Maybe a quad exhaust with some rolled edge tips? That would be awesome if you did Cheers, AT

I'm a man with hidden exhaust's

I like it that way. Here is what I did to my Benz. Here I will pull off the muffler. It will be more nice with out it. Goodbye. Some fresh parts. So I start with this. After some welding. Something to keep it in place. I have to do some work with this one...

I'm the opposite, if you got the quad exhaust, flaunt it on the car :)

I recently upgraded the quad exhaust on my new car to a better sounding and looking quad exhaust. Absolutely love it and worth every penny since I get to enjoy the sound everytime I drive! Cheers, AT

Nice job on that exhaust...

I like your new van. It is such a sunny, happy color! Thanks for cataloguing all your modifications and showing us the before and after pictures. I wish I knew how to do all these types of mechanical things to my own car. Enjoy your new car! Be careful dr...

Really enjoyed your series The result is really impressive. Just one question: did you consider swoping the bumper for the Touran one?, it bolts on without mods and has a more flush optic Great and thanks I hope you will soon do another entertaining proje...
