It's awesome at night too! Well done New York. Well Done!

I haven't been to the Highline during the day, but it's awesome at night!
The highline is lit very dramatically. It's peaceful, yet perfectly safe as there is still a fair amount of traffic.
Truly a beautiful park. Well don New York. Well done!

His first building in New York, I believe. The form and the fritted glass that looks like it is fading from transparent to opaque are meant to evoke sails or clouds. I think that Gehry is better known in NYC today for this building: ...

about this elevated park, and you present it beautifully. There is an anegdote to it: There was an older lady living in a flat on the second floor right next to it, and the lights as well as noise kept her awake at night , so being a New Yorker she dealt ...

Nice series of pics of the high line. We saw it on our last visit to NY but didn't have a chance to a walk along the path. Thanks for sharing this pics, you captured it very nicely. Regards, ED-209
