Ming, I grew up at this restaurant! Years ago my family followed Susie and her husband there from Chinatown's venerable Yang Chow. We were Sunday night fixtures. Often, I'd fish Santa Monica Bay in the morning and enjoy my catch, deep fried, braised and steamed by the caring masters at Hunan Taste.
I gave the identical configuration of that caliber to my daughter for an important birthday in 2011, and the two of us were just admiring it together earlier today!
