However, it bothers me beyond belief when a watch with a seconds hands it’s set exactly. So idk what the workaround is.

Officine Panerai: This is ballistic nylon from crown & buckle.
It was very inexpensive and a great way to change the look for the watch. Here’s a photo with the rubber strap.
