These are great scopes for the money. I have the 3-9 version on a Noveske chainsaw 5.56 that is my go-to daylight varmint hunter. Durable scope with clear glass. On a side note - I am impatiently waiting on a new thermal scope. I will post a short review soon. John
I purchased the upper complete; hand guard came installed. I do like it - lightweight, medium diameter, looks sharp. Magpul's UBR stocks are great. I had the same action in 300 win mag. The bolt pull was very smooth, with quick follow up shots. But, I didn't send many follow up shots down range - it kicked like a mule. I will post a review when I finally get a chance to shoot it. John

The rifle uses Blaser's proprietary base/ring system. I have read only good reviews. I agree, though, and would prefer a rail system with heavier rings. And, yes, the rifle has been dry fired many times! John
