Here are a couple of photo from city life in the north. I think not much explanation is required... The ninth photo (9/12) is the canal in Otaru, all the rest are from Sapporo... The photographs in this set were taken with Fujifilm Neopan 400 or Fujicolor...

Beautiful sceneries! :) [nt]

See my reply to 'cen' above regarding 1 & 5... Number four was taken at the Christmas Market on Odori in Sapporo... I think that these two girls were from Taiwan or China... They wanted to take a picture with me... maybe I was looking like Saint Nick ...

Wonderful

Thanks for sharing. #5 is magical for me, although I love the classic look of #9 and #10 too. The last picture fits my own aesthetic very well, with the intriguing reflection. It's a picture that requires more looking and playing with perception, and that...

Number one was the first major snowfall during my visit to Sapporo, it seemed like a lot of snow at the time, but it was just a hint of what was to come. Number five... yes that was 'Hokkaido Shrine' at Maruyama Koen station of Sapporo's Tozai subway line...

The colored ones...

I have printed some of the color photographs in 2L size mat finish and they turned out fairly decent... I might try larger sizes... 4PW (254x365 at 17.00 USD ) or maybe HP (356x432 at 25.00 USD ) or ZP (457x560 at 35.00 USD ) What I really want is to try ...

Love the litle pavilions in the forest!

Thank you John
