i've just bought a new tv anyway. no 4k over here, just a 42 inch sony led hd smart tv, about as big as my room will take without overpowering it. G

thanks, i did a lot of research and discussed with experts and 42" led for my room and watching preferences is just right. 200hz as well which makes it fairly future proof. i also added to the sound. my yamaha sound bar has had a yamaha 100w sub woof...
it makes a big difference...
Great you got it hooked up to a surround bar, IMO it makes a huge difference in the av experience. The Aquos sound itself is a bit flat but it's hooked up to my HT system so no problems there. Enjoy your new tv! -MW

The 4k and Q+ just came out so the price on the Q's are great! My Oppo bluray can upconvert to 4K but there isn't any real native content so maybe in a few years I'll get one. -MW

Unfortunately we watched the Kings get blown away in Game 2 LOL! It replaced a 73" that was going out. Tried to pull the trigger on a 4K as they are much more reasonable now but couldn't do it. Maybe in a year or two. -MW
