I might need you or DRMW to show me how to really shoot one day. No doubt this new piece will outdo my skills.

I have always wanted a Brown

I have owned 2 full size Springfield 1911s and love the platform. I shoot very well with the TRP. Holding the Brown though, I feel the difference. Certainly one can argue the 1911 was not designed for nor does it require such refinement, but I cannot wait...

Knowing next to nothing about fireams, I had to research . . .

. . . Ed Brown to learn how special your recent delivery really is. I'm waiting for my next Denali cue which will have an apricot wrap from a tree culled from Uncle Jake's orchards . . . . . . joined to a camatillo rosewood forearm and butt. In this secon...

Nice looking grain on the wood. Hopefully it gets completed soon. -MW

. . . just let me know when you've got time. House of Billiards in Sherman Oaks is a quiet spot weekday afternoons, and there's a terrific Lebanese restaurant near by that you might enjoy. Art

Always up for shooting...

Definitely let's go shoot... oh wait...are we talking about the same thing? LOL! -MW ...

Well, for that kind of shooting . . .

I don't consider it as special or as custom as what you are working on!

I look forward to seeing that finished cue Art. But the Ed Brown is a top notch 1911. There are other brands that make a fine product too. This is my first exposure to what I consider a "high end" 1911, and I am excited to have it. Happy New Year to you g...

The EB beavertail is the only one I use on my 1911's (I prefer the memory groove versions). Once you hand fit one on a frame you appreciate it even more! -MW
