SKY SCREEN @ 'The Place'

Jun 01, 2012,00:01 AM

'The Place' is a 70,000 sq foot mall in Beijing's central business district with this as one of the main attractions:

The Sky Screen!

Created by one of the guys who conceived the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada in 1992,  the Sky Screen is 80 feet up and almost 2,300 feet long and is 88 feet wide!

The Sky Screen is divided into 'zones'. One area for movies being shown, satellite TV broadcast in another; and a section where guests can upload their own pictures and or videos with audio!  If I stayed longer I would've definitely uploaded some of the photos off of ThePuristS or PuristSPro!  wink

Ming, "Sprinkle-urine beef balls"....well, therein lies a tale, eh? In Summer time, the street food gets funkier. I've declined grilled sparrow hearts, BBQ scorpions and braised unidentifiable body parts (taste like chicken) before. I also 'thot I thaw a ...
