NM. Tent rocks. I went back two days later, I loved it! Where was this taken?

This was taken in the Antelope Canyon in Utah. Sounds like you enjoyed Santa Fe, NM. Did you get any good pics at Kasha Katuwe? We were supposed to visit NM (like Carlsbad Caves) but our trip last year was canceled due to the shutdowns of October. -MW

I got some okay I phone pics. I'll have to load them

and see how they look on the computer. I"ll post some here for sure. It was really about being out there in the canyons. I know people who've been to Antelope and loved it. There's nothing like the West! California, Utah, Washington, NM are the only place...

Thanks for the pics! Those are some interesting rock formations. I'm always curious on how these shapes came to be and the type of stone that is there. Nature is a wonderful thing isn't it? -MW

Nature is fantastic. I believe the lower layer was softer than the upper layer.

And the winds and the water have just washed them away. It was hard to leave this place.

You should revisit the same area 10 years from now. It would be fascinating to see what has changed or is not there any more due to natural erosion. HAGWE watchthatman! -MW

I should. We're talking earth time not people time ;). May be 10,000 years

For changes to emerge. Unless rocks fall or collapses occur. The whole beautiful mess was created by a volcanic eruption around 7 million years back.
