Intrepid surfers . . .
. . . braving the highest waves in years at The Wedge last week . . . . . . in Newport Beach, California.
Meanwhile, in a smoky bar . . .
. . . not so far away . . . . . . a gang of dissolute pool players ply their skills. Craig scored a deuce during our 3-ball tournament in the clip above - good for a win!
Casual play . . .
. . . after the 8-ball tournament the following day. Sinking the 8 . . . . . . on a long bank shot feels good! Pocketing a ball on a wicked 135ยบ bank . . . . . . makes Jim feel even better.
Sometimes, the best laid plans . . .
. . . go awry. Both these efforts . . . . . . went for naught. One of these days, we're gonna figure out how not to scratch. :-)

Lots of surfers out this week and long weekend...
