The High Line

The High Line of New York is a converted "park in the sky" from a rail tract. Beautifully made and a joy to walk through. I highly recommend anybody that goes to NYC not to miss The High Line.

Uploaded the picture, and it spit out IAC Building. Something to do with Barry Diller :) Food? Wow, NYC has the most diverse food scene in the world. Might need 1-2 weeks to sample some of the food. Miss: Les Halles (am a fan of Bourdain), ethiopian resta...

His first building in New York, I believe. The form and the fritted glass that looks like it is fading from transparent to opaque are meant to evoke sails or clouds. I think that Gehry is better known in NYC today for this building: ...

Brings back memories….I used to get omelets at Cafe Reggio. It's been a while.

Balthazar always looked promising, but it's the noisiest restaurant I've ever visited, so I don't think I'll go back. Had the most amazing flank steak ever at Momofuku Ma Peche. They sou vided it for a very long time, then seared it. Delicious and tender ...

I haven't been to the Highline during the day, but it's awesome at night! The highline is lit very dramatically. It's peaceful, yet perfectly safe as there is still a fair amount of traffic. Truly a beautiful park. Well don New York. Well done!

I saw a documentary not long ago....

about this elevated park, and you present it beautifully. There is an anegdote to it: There was an older lady living in a flat on the second floor right next to it, and the lights as well as noise kept her awake at night , so being a New Yorker she dealt ...
