It's from Michael Mina restaurant at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Dessert trio. The left side dish is a passionfruit panna cotta with a slice of avocado, orange, grapefruit and coconut lime sorbet. The avocado sounds a little bit strange but adds a nice creaminess to the dish.
I've had Indonesian drinks that is made of avocado and chocolate which is an odd combo but is refreshing.
There's a place near Westwood, cA named Diddy Riese that has awesome ice cream sandwiches that is made of 2 baked cookies with ice cream in the middle. Tastes great and inexpensive.

Maple bacon chips?
Wow, I hadn't seen those. Any good? Take it one step further: pancakes + crispy bacon + maple syrup + vanilla ice cream is a truly unholy combination. Wish I had a photo! E.

Recently in Canada....
one of the better brands ( don't remember which one) were market testing cinamon bun flavored patato chips. They were giving away samples in shopping centers , and apparently people were fond of them. They may just mass produce them soon. regards e

I was at the market and saw cappucino flavored potato chips: Lay's did a big contest where people submitted recommendations for flavors and then they ended up with the above 4. I think only the bacon mac and cheese would be ok. -MW ...

I must say. Love the old fashion sour cream and onion flavored chips best. But I admire the creativity in flavor combinations. Regards Edward
