The original Halloween. 1978 and it has all of the ingredients to be a great horror movie. Still my favorite to this day.
The sequel deserves credit as well. Probably scarier than the original IMO. A real pair of classics!

Since Halloween is this week, there have been a lot of scary movies on tv. One of them was something I remember watching when I was younger, back then it scared the cr@p out of me! Anyone get freaked out by CreepShow ? George A. Romero and Stephen King!!!...

We watched Silence of the Lambs at the theater during undergrad, great movie! Didn't care of Hannibal or Red Dragon, did you watch/like those? -MW

Very few sequels are as good as the original. Lots of bad remakes now. :( -MW

that was real scary when I was 12 :) in top three are sure this two classics of Poe & Price but all in all this is all time classics ...music adds that extra spooky dimension brilliant..and handsome lady never hurt nobody ;) Yours D ...

I'm a fan of John Carpenter's movies like The Thing. He also did Big Trouble in Little China ( which I thought was awesome) and Escape from New York! -MW

Near the end of the movie, Gregory Peck's character cuts the hair of Damien and sees the '666'! Did you like the sequels, they did up to Omen V! -MW

I don't really like the sequels, the sequel that I like is just Omen part 2 Zodiac by David Fincher is also my favorite horror movie, this one is about serial killer not demon stuffs with 666:-) Ronald

Not because the movie was scary, but because I was horrified that I actually spent a dollar to see this in the AZ dollar theater LOL ps - even Jennifer Anniston couldn't save this movie from being watchable :) Regards, ED-209

I had heard about the Shatner likeness. You can see it! Did you ever see the movie Shattered with William Shatner? Outstanding thriller that many have never heard of.
