Maastricht, Netherland.

After Bimb's house, Bruxelles and Boxtel, we spent one day and a half in Maastricht.

It is at only 400 Kilometers from Paris, but  disorientation is guaranteed. The architecture, the language, the ambiance are changing a lot, form a french point of view. Not sure that Filip got the same feeling, though...

Like if Time stopped several centuries ago.

Here are some pictures to illustrate my point:

The main place:

In the old town:

The river....

A superb bridge:

I must say that these Dutch are quite cool. We arrived in the town while they were celebrating something.

I asked to several of them, and they couldn't tell me what they were celebrating. One of them gave me an excellent answer: " Do we really need a good reason to have fun "?

One thing which is quite dangerous, though... They ride their bicycle everywhere. So, you'd better look twice when walking in the Streets.

I will have to come back there, and spend more time!

Another detail which pleased me a lot is that they are very fan of vintage cars.

Here a link I posted about my short stay in Boxtel, at 120 Kilometers from Maastricht, not very far from Amsterdam.

Well, you got it, this part of Europe is Worth a visit!

Best,

Nicolas
