Conrad @ Cotai Central Macau

As we arrived into Macau from the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal (http://timeout.watchprosite.com/show-forumpost/fi-686/pi-6723973/ti-965903/s-0/t-timeout-via-turbojet-macau-to-hong-kong-macau-terminal-ferryouter-harbour-terminal/ ) , the transport bus dropped us off at our hotel:

The Conrad Macao opened in 2012 and has over 600 rooms.  It's on the Cotai Central complex which includes the Sheraton and Holiday Inn.  Cotai Central also has convention rooms, a mall, and two casinos:  The Himalaya and Pacifica.

Guests are welcomed through the large motorcourt.  The front signage has a large waterfall.

On the street side is a large LCD billboard:

The Conrad has a walkway to connect to the Venetian on the upper level (2nd floor) or you can take a short walk to the City of Dreams and then across the crosswalk.

The outer area of the property is lined with a lot of tropical plants and vegetation and kept up well:

Laterns at night light up the property and walkways:

Upon entering the Conrad, there is a huge ceiling to floor chandelier display:

Another near the guest room elevators and bar area:

Immediately to the right of the chandelier is the main lobby:

They have a attendant at the elevators to assist you to your room, spa, or meeting rooms:

The hallway is brightly lit.  Carpet was well maintained:

Our room:

Like most hotels you have to place a room key card to activate the electrical in the room:

The weather during our visit was pleasant but did get a bit humid due to the rain storms that came in.  Fortunately the thermostat worked really well and kept our room nice and cool:

Adjacent to the front door is a counter with additional storage space.  The staff placed fresh fruit and replenished the bottled water:

Our suite had a spacious guest bathroom:

In the hallway was the coffee and tea maker with the minibar at the bottom:

Non smoking room!

On the left is a work desk and a dining table on the right.  Straight ahead is the living room:

The leather sofa was very comfortable:

The flat screen was a bit small for the large living room but they had a wide variety of channels in Chinese, Japanese, and English.

A JBL docking station for your iPad:

Inside the bedroom there is another flat screen:

Another desk in the bedroom:

around the corner leading into the bathroom is a sitting room and large closets and drawers:

The slippers that they provided were really comfortable:

Since we are Hhonors members, our level allowed us to have an unlimited supply of Evian water.

There was a jacuzzi tub with the signature rubber ducky.  The one here is really cool, it wasa  clear hollow duck with a pair of dice inside!  The bathroom was roomy:

as was the shower:

Fancy box on the dual sink bathroom counter:

it held all the amenities that you might need:

Complimentary candies from the Conrad:

A basket for your personal items:

The linens were a high thread count with a firm mattress.  Slept extremely well!

A big thumbs up to the Conrad in Macau, most notable was our experience with the front desk hostess Renee, she did an excellent job when we first arrived and made sure out stay was perfect!

The Conrad is conveniently located within the Cotai Central complex. A short walk from the guest elevators leads you to the mall area. Since it was winter time, the holiday spirit was found all over: They had a bunch of waterfalls from the upper levels dr...

Nice! We stayed at the Venetian last year when we visited Macau. The Conrad looks like a nice hotel. Regards, ED-209
