Warm welcome...A fellow PuristS was in town!

Mar 17, 2015,18:24 PM

It's always great to put faces to the screen name so when a fellow PuristS came into town yesterday we had a fun Get Together.   It was a pleasure to welcome 'Luc00' to Los Angeles!  The beautiful weather and ocean views in the Santa Monica area provided the perfect setting for a nice dinner with new and old friends to meet, talk stories, and enjoying an evening together.  A big warm welcome from several SoCal PuristS, we all had an incredible time.

Good food, Great Friends, and Fantastic Conversation.

Looking forward to the next visit, hopefully soon!
Regards,
ED-209

Obviously not a pic of Luc00 smile , but a pic of our lovely waitress who took great care of us during the evening.

The concept of restaurant Seasons 52 is that every dish is 475 calories or less! -MW

I am ready for another PuristS meal.

 By: JerryW : March 18th, 2015-21:48
Good think the food is just a small part of the equation, PuristS friends hanging out can easily overcome a healthy meal. Best, JerryW

You are right about the food!

 By: rovermark : March 18th, 2015-02:37
Way too healthy! No butter or sour cream on the potatoes, no sauce for the fish. Not a single fried item on the entire menu.

hahaha, remember what DRMW said?

LOL reminds me of the time some of us went to MacDonalds after a big meal

in Paris...Guy Savant or something, wasn't it? :p)

How is that possible?

 By: DRMW : March 18th, 2015-12:08
When we did Guy Savoy it was a 4 hour, kazillion course dinner and we ate so much that could barely walk out of the restaurant. How did you even manage to do McD's after? -MW

You obviously haven't met the two guys...

 By: ThomasM : March 18th, 2015-14:09
that went looking for ice cream after eating all day...I heard this other guy in the group went along just to watch them eat.

LOL that was an epic meal

They have a location around the corner from my office

 By: JerryW : March 18th, 2015-21:53
It is owned by Darden. I think they are upgrading since they sold Red Lobster, they now own these: Olive Garden LongHorn Steakhouse Bahama Breeze Seasons 52 The Capital Grille Eddie V's Yard House Interesting lineup for a chain. I look forward to our next...

It's stuffed mushrooms. It may look that way since it's in a escargot dish.

In that case...
