I really don’t like posts like this….
And if I had the moderating power, I’d delete them all. But I recognize I’m in the minority here and I respect the free reigns the moderators give these posts. But, honestly, it’s one of the reasons I visit this site much less these days.
Before you say it’s just good old clean fun, I get that. I am neither an old fuddy-duddy, prude, or someone who doesn’t like looking at pretty women. I just think everything has its place. I miss the time when this site held itself to higher standards and we wouldn’t post pictures of women or girls with the explicit intent of sexualizing them. What follows is always the same - a dozen cheap sexual innuendos that sound like teenage schoolboys behind the bike sheds looking at their first Playboy.
I get it, I’m in the minority, call me an old stick in the mud. I just feel like we could do better. After all, there’s honestly the rest of the internet for stuff like this. I come back to our old mantra of how we conduct ourselves at a virtual cocktail party. And this simply wouldn’t be my chosen topic of conversation. And it doesn’t feel particularly welcoming to our female forum members, if we even have any anymore.
