Only on my ipad air

Sep 25, 2014,17:25 PM

the download took forever so I decided to just wait to install on the other devices.

Turned out to be a great idea.
So far no problem beside occasionally slow wifi connection.
Like the new feature that lets me make phone calls on iPad via my iPhone.

We have quite a few PuristS who have iPhones, iPads, and iTouch devices. What do you think of the new iOS 8 update? Did anyone get FUBAR'd by updating to iOS 8.0.1? -MW...

Loaded on my iPad without any issues.

Good to hear yours updated fine. I did it on one of my iPads and when on 4G LTE it occasionally needs to be reset. Some apps force close too. I haven't updated the iPad Air yet. -MW

I had to look up FUBAR...

I learned a new acronym today! Thanks DRMW! I'm still running iOS 6.1.4 in my iPhone 5. I didn't install 7. And I don't think I have the memory space to install 8.

If I am on wifi 5 GHz I notice it gets slow. The last two iPads I got are cellular versions and it seems they are more problematic than the regular wifi only ones. -MW

Looks like 8.0.2 has been released...

I just did the 8.0.2 update and Apps are not updating in the app store. Safari is force closing a lot. IMO their cellular iPads have a lot of problems. :( On my iPad Air I'm holding off on updating from 7. I heard that starting today Bestbuy has the Note ...

My iPad 3 loaded 8.02 without any issues.

A lot of my apps were stuck and wouldn't function as it was trying to update. I did resets and even reinstalled and restore backups. Did a reset this afternoon and now it allows the updates to work. I think it's the celluar iPads that always have issues. ...
