Shhhhhhh!

AAC developed the 300 Blackout with the idea of using brass, magazines, and lower receivers from the existing AR15 platform. Supersonic 115 grain bullets outperform 5.56 rounds with much more knock-down power. And, 220 grain subsonic loads are perfect for suppressed rifles.

I have mated a Noveske lower receiver to a Daniel Defense upper chambered in 300 Blackout. A Gem-Tech Quicksand suppressor makes the rifle extremely quiet.

I have not chosen an optic yet. Whatever I choose, I plan on using a thermal unit for night hunts.

This is an extremely enjoyable rifle to shoot. Very quiet. Low recoil. And, inexpensive to reload.

Thanks for reading.

Nice combo of parts for your AR! How do you like the Daniel Defense handguard? A close friend was looking at getting a UBR stock, I'd be curious to hear your impressions of it. BTW, the SHOT show is just coming soon, you might want to wait a week and see ...

I purchased the upper complete; hand guard came installed. I do like it - lightweight, medium diameter, looks sharp. Magpul's UBR stocks are great. Consistent cheek weld is easy to achieve as the length of pull can be programmed for the user. The stock fe...

Can't go wrong with US Optics! Have you looked into the Leupold Mark 6? They are amazingly compact and FFP. -MW

Nice setup

I like the concept of the 300 Blackout with the compatibility on the AR platform. Very cool that no modifications (other than bolt and barrel) are needed. And the ballistics seem to be excellent. Looking forward to seeing what you decide for optics. Regar...
