As a young man I had a poster with this title with a great garage with 5 super cars in it. This is my take. I'm a college drop out hence I'm missing the other 3 LOL...

As a Lambo Murc owner, I wouldn't be bragging about a Gallardo

Glad to see fellow Lambo owners but honestly, not in the spirit of the purists to be bragging about what you got. And i'm sure many here who are well educated would disageee with you. Just my 2cents. Best, -AviB

I think you have misread the tone

 By: tourbillon001 : October 6th, 2010-22:02
of my post, i meant it to be much more tongue and cheek than anything. The fact that you pointed out you have a murci while coming down on me for bragging debases your argument a bit in my humble opinion. Of course you are welcomed to your opinion and as ...

A reminder fellas....

A reminder, keep the tone civil on the forum and the focus on having fun talking cars. Any comments outside of this will be deleted and your posting privileges revoked without explanation. PM me if you have concerns. Enjoy your Lamborghini boys. -MW

.... you've got the right take on life (and that is said from the perspective of knowing some only of the watches that have been through your still-young hands as well!). Lovely sheetmetal. Now it's time to adopt a family motto. What is the Latin for "He ...

good to hear from you. Knowing a bit about your collection I'll take your compliment and say thank you. I've actually been thinking about going back to school. As an 18 yr old young man I was not mature enough to see the value in it, but at 30 it is a bit...

i'm not talking from experience here as i've never been educated or wealthy, its just from the way i think, but it must be very difficult to be wealthy without displaying it in some way and there is a very fine line between acceptable and vulgar. some of ...

I've always liked the body style of the Gallardo but always associated Lamborghini with the scissor doors. I wonder if and when they will redo the Muira for production? -MW

But but

 By: BDLJ : October 7th, 2010-15:42

Were on the Diablo, Murcielago and soon to come Murcielago successor. I love the scisor doors even if I do not even own a car with them as the Miura, Espada and Urraco do not have them. But for me a real Lambo has to have a 12 cyl but of course Lambo woul...

many people ask me why it does not have scisor doors

 By: tourbillon001 : October 10th, 2010-20:18
I normally just say they were so played out that lambo dropped them LOL. I love the sound and thrust of the murci with its v12 but the size was just to big for me.

Strategy is one thing, if the small brother gets everything from the big one...

you kill the icon, but also the Gallardo is aimed at a broader target group that shops for Porsche Ferraris and muscled limos. In order to reach those you have two dilute the extract otherwise you scare people off. When you drive a Gallardo you do not wan...

I grew up in the era of the Countach so that's my childhood association with Lambos. Also vehicles like the Vector W12, Miami Vice Testarossa, and the Back to the Future DeLorean were the cool cars of the day. -MW
