Popeye's was disappointing...
By: Esharp : October 22nd, 2014-03:36
I tried that Popeye's a little while ago, it must have been last year - honestly, it didn't do it for me; I left no skinnier but frankly unsatisfied. Still looking for some decent fried chicken in HK! I agree with TM, The Wing is the way to go if you have...
Hello Esharp!

Thanks for the insights to HK airport, sounds like you have a lot of experience there. Have you been to Crystal Jade? IMO their xiao long bao is better than DTF! -MW
A bit too much experience...

A bit too much experience there, perhaps! But I've got it down to a fine art now and rarely spend more than a little while in the lounge before boarding. (Unless it's a flight to China, in which case you can count on delays thanks to air traffic...
I like the one...

Agree about the consistency of these places. I like the Crystal Jade at the Gateway Arcade in Harbor City. Hope you get to try the one at the airport, let us know how it goes. -MW
Crystal Jade
By: Esharp : October 24th, 2014-09:52
Well, I work in Harbour City...! The Crystal Jade was a bit irregular earlier this year, while the DTF across the way in Silvercord is rock solid. Maybe I should give CJ another try, along with the one at the airport. This time I'll post pics!
If you get a chance...

They do the La Mein, get the noodles with the hot and sour soup. It sounds like a weird combo but I enjoyed it. Look forward to your pics and HAGWE Esharp! -MW
A pic for you...

Hey, that's not fair!
By: Esharp : October 24th, 2014-09:48
Who do you think you are, posting yummy-looking photos of fried chicken AND chilli dogs within a day or so of each other? The two most sinfully wonderful junk foods ever invented...that's just evil! ;) (If anyone knows where to get good southern fried chi...
Stop! Please! I'm begging ya!

That is *SO* not fair!!! Wow - where is that from? I think I need to go eat lunch. Or have a lie-down. Or both...!

We have a bunch of great delis here, not as good as NY but still delicious. This particular Pastrami on Rye with Latkes are from Lenny's Deli in West L.A. -MW
So... the next time you...

So... the next time you come to HK maybe you could swing by a few places on the way to the airport and get some takeaway? I'll be your (hungry) limo driver when you land! On 25 Oct, 2014, at 15:58, www watchprosite < [Email address suppressed for priva...

It was a last minute trip.

Hi Ling, Would love to connect next time. I arrived the morning of the tear gas... :-( The pic was taken on the departure level just after document control. Cheers, TM
Yes, I was very strong, and didn't fail to the temptation.

A surprising temptation, I must say. Ok, I loved the Tudor Black Bay... This is why I decided to visit them, but there was another Watch which I didn't expect to like.... A Rolex. A modern one. One I didn't like at all when it was unveiled some years ago....
