Always difficult to glean much from these glossy promotional vids

 By: Avatar : March 4th, 2015-09:54
It looks like it will be a bit more solidly built than previous generations, which is good. It will also be interesting to see how the camera performs in this new version.

Hello Avatar, Agree, it's always good to see these products first hand to see if it fits your needs. A few things to note about the new S6 and S6 Edge, they took out the removeable battery and it's now a glass back. You can't use microSD cards either. :( ...

There hasn't really been a viable alternative to the iphone in terms of build quality

 By: Avatar : March 6th, 2015-14:44
This phone looks like it could well at least come close to the build standards that Apple have attained with the iphone. Having said that, the omission of a Micro SD slot is annoying. I suppose I can live without a removable battery, though it is handy be...

You're right, they concentrated a lot on the camera. Pre-orders for the US is April so I guess we'll see how good it is in a month or two. HAGWE Avatar. -MW

Now I'm beginning to covet one of these new phones

 By: Avatar : March 11th, 2015-20:52
The quality of cameras on smartphones still amazes me, especially for close up shots. I reach for my phone a lot of the time in preference to my DSLR such is the apparent ease with which it takes pictures of close up objects.

The S6 Edge looks great

 By: AnthonyTsai : March 5th, 2015-12:41
I fooled around with the original Edge at a store before and it seemed cool, but not cool enough for me to want to get it. Maybe having double curved edges will now though. Cheers, Anthony
