Root beer and ice cream...
Root beer and ice cream is a truly holy combination. (I keep introducing it to Brits who think root beer tastes like cough syrup. Their loss!) But what is going on at the left-hand side of the photo? Is that a piece of avocado and some grapefruit?
Now, that ice cream sandwich. It's a curiously American thing, and I can't seem to find it anywhere else in the world. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places but for all it being essentially junk food of the worst kind, I do miss them massively and I still check every freezer aisle in every supermarket for them - both the kind you show as well as the ones made with chocolate chip cookies, with chocolate chips studded around the sides of the ice cream!

Wow, I hadn't seen those. Any good? Take it one step further: pancakes + crispy bacon + maple syrup + vanilla ice cream is a truly unholy combination. Wish I had a photo! E.

Recently in Canada....
one of the better brands ( don't remember which one) were market testing cinamon bun flavored patato chips. They were giving away samples in shopping centers , and apparently people were fond of them. They may just mass produce them soon. regards e

I was at the market and saw cappucino flavored potato chips: Lay's did a big contest where people submitted recommendations for flavors and then they ended up with the above 4. I think only the bacon mac and cheese would be ok. -MW ...

I must say. Love the old fashion sour cream and onion flavored chips best. But I admire the creativity in flavor combinations. Regards Edward
