Switching from the 'Blue Death Star' to the 'Un-Carrier'

I know a lot of you are on ANDROID or iOS tablets but anyone here use LTE variants via a data SIM card?

I can tether off my cellphone but it's much more convenient to have a separate plan dedicated to the tablet.  I've been on AT&T for a while but decided to change.  Here's my LTE iPad, they provide a tool to pop open the SIM card tray but you can bend a paperclip if you don't have one handy:

So long AT&T hello T-Mobile!

Each carrier has it's advantages and disadvantages.  IMO it really boils down to the area you use your device the most.  Each company has it's dead spots of coverage and T-Mobile has been great in my area.  Plus they have a fast network and I've been pulling some incredible speeds on 4G LTE.

SIM cards are available in Standard, Micro, and Nano depending on the device you are using.

Easy to install, just insert the tool in and the tray pops out.  Replace card and reinsert the tray:

Turn on the tablet, go to 'Settings' and go to 'Celluar Data' and toggle it on!  Now let's see what kind of speeds I can get on this thing!
