When I picked the model I had only seem brown shoes and didn't even notice it.
Now that I have them I really like that contrast and if I had known about it would have encouraged them to make it more obvious.
Right now it is sort of ambiguous, is it wanted or not? not sure.

The craftsmanship and construction is excellent, soles nailed on with wooden nails etc.
That makes a pretty stiff shoe at the beginning and they say to expect a certain time for breaking them in.
Just some small details that could have been done better, but still a world of different to mass market shoes.

Those look very nice plus you can't go wrong with a captoe design. How was the crafstmanship and construction of the shoe? Did you go for the unfinished end look with the gusset at the shoelaces/ankle area to give it a bit of contrast? -MW
