Glad you like the views, always appreciate you looking! The most common way to visit Grand Canyon West is via tour bus, helicopter, or plane from Vegas. From L.A. it's primarily by tour bus. The only way to get the sunrise and sunset views is to stay over...

haven't been in like forever..made one trip in high school and another over it during a drunken bachelor party weekend.. need to go again...you don't understand the majestic nature of it unless you see it standing at the rim... great photos...

Yep, it's poop! Specifically bat droppings to be used as fertilizer. They thought there was a huge amount of it so they spent all this time and money to retrieve it only to find out that there wasn't all that much so they had to close the mine. -MW

Of the canyon is amazing ! Picture book perfect ! To name the place Guano ... Says a lot ! The ammonia must be over powering ! Gotta visit the canyon ! Definitely on my bucket list ! Thanks for the view, Ming !

Fortunately for our noses there's no guano left at Guano Point! :) If you head out this way, Grand Canyon West is easiest and closest trip to make from Las Vegas. If you go to North Rim you can hit Zion and Bryce Canyon. South Rim is much further but IMO ...
