I've never heard of them before, and it was pricey. But the cut, the finish, the material, the fit, it's amazing. I'm pampering this one, I'll only wear it on rare occasions, and I don't have a cleaner I can trust it to, so I'm laundering it myself and air drying so I don't screw up the shape.
It's the nicest shirt I've ever worn. The second nicest was by Prada, made in Italy, a simple white cotton oxford with something really special.
I think I"ll be in Paris next month, so I'll check out some spots over there for shoes!
I was hitting some of the big, formerly european-made, brand shops last year in Paris and I was shocked by how much was actually made in Mexico or southeast Asia.
Much of Hermes is still made in France, they do seem to still be quality.
I just received some Italian hiking boots that I love. It's my third pair of Italian boots, and something that should last and serve me well for years. I will post a picture soon.
