As I mentioned before, there is a lot of wild life in the desert.  The Hualapai Ranch barns were full of horses...

Desert Hares were hopping around the Ranch:

This little guy can eat, he mowed down on the greens.  Must have been hungry!

While these horses look like Clydesdales, they are actually Bergerons.  Meet Hank and Tank!

A quick video with the Bergerons:

 By: DRMW : July 2nd, 2013-00:02
The Dance Hall is where all the action is, everyone in town gathers here for food, drinks, and entertainment. Think of it as the town meeting area. Sine it's 120+ miles from Vegas, I guess they also like poker. How's the saying go? 'Liquor in the front, P...

Crowe Illusions...

 By: DRMW : July 2nd, 2013-00:02
After our dinner, there was a magician inside the Dance Hall doing all kinds of slight of hand tricks. Found out after talking with Mark Crowe that he performs at the Magic Castle out here in L.A. No wonder, he's very good! A few people gathered around to...

The Cabins

 By: DRMW : July 2nd, 2013-00:10
On the Hualapai Ranch, they have 28 cabins all in a arc, facing the east towards the Grand Canyon Rim. Very simple accommodations out here... All rooms are non smoking! Some decorations in the rooms: It gets hot out in Arizona so they have a ceiling fan.....

 By: DRMW : July 2nd, 2013-22:11
Thanks ED-209, the South Rim is much nicer but this place is still awesome. If you do the heli from Vegas, they don't get there early enough for the sunrise and leave before the sunset so make sure you plan for the overnight at the Hualapai Ranch so that ...
