Pacific Place: Peking Garden

Peking Garden is a restaurant that we had tried back in 2012. I thought it was pretty good so let's see if things have changed or remained the same...
They always had nice embroidered table cloths and napkins. They gave us a pickled cucumber dish with boiled peanuts
Of course we ordered their baked stuffed crab shell. The Peking Garden version is on the smaller side (like Ye Shanghai) and had a creamier sauce in the crab and onion stuffing. It would be much better if they broiled it a little longer.
The classic Shanghai stir fried Shrimp dish was excellent:
One of my favorite foods to order, pan Fried Dumplings!
The Peking Garden dumplings were crisp on the outside with a flavorful meat filled inside.
Too much garlic in the Jia Jiang Mein noodles:
I didn't care for their version of DanDan Mein
The accompanying peanut sauce was extra spicy!
Can't go wrong with the Xiao Long Bao steamed dumplings:
Shanghai Pork Ribs were good but would be better if the sauce was drier.
From our last visit it seems like Peking Garden got a lot more popular, the place was packed even thought we had reservations. We went on a weekday and they had a lot of private parties and what seemed like business dinners. IMO it felt like they tried to go more upscale compared to our experience in 2012.
